Grand Valley Santa parade cancelled
GRAND VALLEY - Even Santa Claus is vulnerable to COVID-19.
On June 19 the Grand Valley and District Santa Claus Parade Committee announced the cancellation if the 2020 parade, which had been scheduled for Nov. 28.
“Relying on the advice and direction of the various government agencies, the committee decided to postpone the event until 2021,” organizers stated.
“Our main concern is the public’s safety during this extraordinary health crisis and to safeguard the health of our many volunteers, participants and attendees.
“We will overcome this pandemic and become stronger as a community.”
