Gordon Lightfoot’s band coming to Fergus

FERGUS – Experience the Songs of Gordon Lightfoot in the most authentic way – with his original touring band.

The Lightfoot Band features Rick Haynes on bass, Barry Keane on drums and percussion, Mike Heffernan on keyboards, Carter Lancaster on lead guitars, and new member, Andy Mauck on rhythm guitars and vocals.

The Lightfoot Band is scheduled to perform at the Fergus Grand Theatre on September 22.

The intimate evening promises an unforgettable performance that honors Canadian icon Gordon Lightfoot and shares his amazing songs.

Fans can expect to hear their favourite classics as well as some deep cuts and stories, to deliver the ultimate Gordon Lightfoot experience.

“After the initial period of grieving, we decided … that we should continue on … We felt that it was our duty to continue to perform Gordon’s great songs, the way he wanted them performed,” said Keane in a press release.
