GOODWIN, Daniel Dale “Boone”
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, February 19, 2024 in his 67th year. Dear son of the late Harold “Tex” (2011) and Norma (2021) Goodwin. Dear brother of Sandra and her husband Don Fosbury of Kemble, Susan and her husband Phillip Moore of Drayton and David Goodwin and his wife Bonnie of Norwood. Cherished uncle of Sean Fosbury and Tracey Brown, Shannon Woodworth and Dwayne Cofone; Stephen Moore, Scott and Amanda Moore, Jason and April Moore, Jeremy and Karen Moore; Crystal and Gord Raynard, John Wyllie and Carolyn Stephen. Great uncle of Riley, Evan, Zach, Josh, Zoey, Meagan and Colton, Averie, Mylie and Lanie, Tyson and Alyssa, Allison, Elizabeth and Lucas, Evan and Cayden. Great great uncle Peyton, Oliver and Emily. Fondly remembered by his many friends and neighbours. Dan enjoyed working in construction and was well respected by Goetz Construction in Guelph, who he worked for until his retirement. To honour Dan’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place in the Drayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston.
