GEORGE, Murray
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Roza (Ivankovic) George for 45 years. Dear father of Sandra and Ray Beisel of Guelph, Debbie Kiss and Siggy Carias of Florida and Michael and Janice George of Kurtzville. Cherished grandfather to his 7 grand and 14 great grandchildren. Brother of Isobel and Jack Rice of Kitchener and brother-in-law of Betty George of Port Elgin. Fondly remembered by Elsie Smith, his nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Murray’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral home, Palmerston on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 to 11:45am followed by a memorial service of remembrance at 12:00pm followed by a celebration at the Frank Lambier Legion, Palmerston. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
