Gallery Concert series wraps up April 26
ABOYNE – The final Gallery Concert of the season will return to its home base at the Wellington County Museum and Archives.
The concert, on April 26 at 2pm, will feature Ambrosia Ensemble for the third time.
The instrumentation forms a quintet but with an unusual grouping: violin, clarinet, cello, horn and piano.
The pieces featured will be quintets composed by Robert Kahn, a disciple of Brahms, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, one of England’s favourite sons, officials say.
“Please come and join us for an afternoon of good music and company,” they added. Admission is $15 cash at the door.
