GALBRAITH, Gordon

Gordon Edwin Galbraith, formerly of Guelph, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Sunday, November 18th, 2018 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Christina (nee Suen). Loving father of Alison Churchman and her husband Warren. Cherished grandfather of Peter Gordon Churchman. Dear brother of Norman Galbraith and his wife Christine. Fondly remembered by his aunt Mary Ann Smith (nee Schmidt) of Calgary. Gordon had a successful 30 year career in the banking industry then was fortunate enough to take early retirement to follow his true passion of wood working. He loved making custom heirloom furniture pieces which he turned into a business, operating out of the Log House Gallery with Christina in Campbellville for over 20 years. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Johnson Hill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
