FRIEDMAN, Kathleen Margaret (nee Drimmie)

Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace in Fergus, on August 18th, 2022 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Gilbert Franklin John Friedman. Loving mother to her daughters Kim Clark (Bill Stimpson), Stephanie Giles (Stewart Giles) and Andrea Friedman (Chris Sinclair). Cherished grandmother to Dan (Katie), Duane (Elanor), Jessie (Coby), Lexi (Carter), Nicole, Alex and Jack and great grandmother of Allie and Ben. Survived by her sister Betty Garvin, brother Harold Drimmie (Pat), and sisters in law Joan Drimmie and Heather Drimmie. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Reta Drimmie, brothers Corley Drimmie and Ken Drimmie, son-in-law Rob Clark, and parents in law Emil and Josephine Friedman. We were blessed by the care and compassion she received at the Wellington Terrace. Her smile will be missed by many. Memorial Service for Kathleen was held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at 2:00pm, followed by a reception at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations in Kathleen’s memory can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
