French day

The Upper Grand District School Board offered a French cultural event for students in Grades 7 to 9 on April 17 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus. The event aimed to promote French culture, encourage students to continue French past Grade 9 and to develop confidence in their proficiency. About 185 students from across the board participated in the event and about 40 students from Centre Wellington District High School, Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute and Westside Secondary School helped facilitate the event.
