Former manse to be severed and rezoned
A committee of adjustment on May 25 was required to provide relief from a required sideyard setback, lot area requirements and lot coverage.
The application has been submitted with a rezoning application to rezone a manse from institutional to residential uses.
The property is at 211 Birmingham Street West (corner of Birmingham and Elgin streets) in Mount Forest.
A report from planner Linda Redmond to Wellington North council noted provisional consent was given by the county land division committee to sever the manse from the church property.
Mayor Mike Broomhead said the meetings were in regard to the final severance and property rezoning.
The county has no issue with the changes.
