FORD, Peter Campbell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pete Campbell Ford on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Groves Memorial Hospital Fergus with his family by his side. Beloved husband to Pauline Ann Ford for 63 years. He is survived by his sons Michael (Trish), Mark (Brenda) and grandchildren Carmen, Jeff (Jami – Rose) , John (Jenna), Tyler (Jayme) and Mike and great-grandchildren Carter, Paige, Cade, Jadyn, Jordyn, Hailey, Harley -Rose, Riley and Ben. Peter was born on May 16, 1938, to Lila and George Ford in Guelph where he was raised and lived his entire life. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle and lending a hand to anyone who needed help. He was always a phone call away. He loved his classic country music and his house parties with guitars lasting to the wee hours of the morning. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph and Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, and to Dr. Stickney and Dr. Lund for the exceptional care he received. Private cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to ALS would be appreciated by the family.
