“A Life Well Lived” died peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Susan (Winegarden) Forbes for 52 years. Cherished father of John Forbes (Megan) and Dan Forbes (Cherie). Loving grandfather of Lukas and Bronwyn Forbes. Dear brother of Janet Vooys and Paul (Anna) Bowes, brother-in-law of Ruth (David) Macdonald and John (Pat) Winegarden. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents and two nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Blair Lodge #314 conducted a Masonic service and Rev. Jeff Hawkins conducted a private family graveside service in Palmerston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to VON, the ALS Society or Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
