Foodgrains Bank bonspiel
The Clifford-Oakville Foodgrains project hosted a curling bonspiel on March 7 at the arena in Clifford, organized by Lorne Underwood and Claude Field.
Sixteen teams signed up to curl. Greg Inglis along with Rodger Filsinger, Brensen White, and Bruce Hutchison managed to score 37.5 points to capture the trophy.
All curlers earned prizes of pork. Left over prizes were auctioned off.
The Sharing Our Faith quilting group donated a duck design quilt that was won by Brian Osmond.
David Scherpenzeel shared story books and spoke about his trip to Nicaragua with one team leader and seven other students from across Canada in 2014.
