FLORADALE 8 COMMUNITY 1
Floradale owned all three periods to keep Community out of the game. The Floradale squad scored three unanswered goals in the first and two in the second.
Community struck for a goal in the third, but Floradale responded with three more.
Conner Bauman led Floradale with a hat trick. Ryan Martin followed with a pair of goals and an assist. Willis Martin and Kendrick Frey each scored a goal and had an assist. Other assists were collected by Andrew Martin, Corey Wideman, Nick Martin, Tim Martin and Brandon Martin.
Ryco Martin blasted in a rebound for the lone Community goal, assisted by Tony Martin.
LISTOWEL 6 BETHEL 4
Listowel scored the only goal in the first period with a slap shot by Phil Shantz. Braeden Gingerich and Josh Shantz assisted.
Bethel tied the game in the second with Laverne Metzger burying a rebound left by Garrett Martin. However, by the end of the period Listowel scored two more goals from the sticks of Phil Shantz and Mike Gingrich. Zach Gingrich and Curtis Wagler assisted.
Bethel also scored another goal with a shot by Garrett Martin, assisted by Matt Martin and Tony Martin.
The third period produced a lot of action.
Bethel kept in the game scoring twice. But Listowel denied the tying attempt scoring three goals to claim the win.
Trevor Kuepfer, Braeden Gingerich, and Shayne Martin scored the Listowel goals, assisted by Mike Gingrich, Greg Bauman, Phil Shantz, Travis Kuepfer and Trevor Kuepfer.
Laverne Metzger scored the two Bethel goals to complete his hat trick, assisted on both goals by Garrett Martin.
DRAYTON 8 MISSIONARY 4
After a scoreless first period, the game turned into a scoring frenzy. Drayton struck for four goals in both the second and third periods and Missionary responded with two in each.
Dave Mulder scored a hat trick and had an assist to lead Drayton. Jessie and Colton Hoekstra had two goals and an assist each. Cam Mohl scored a goal and had an assist. Other assists went to Eric Deckers (4), Brandon Rumph (2), Rob DeWeerd and Mike Hessels.
Jamie Hoelscher scored two goals and earned an assist for Missionary. Matt Burnett and Pat Landman scored the other Missionary goals, with assists by Dave Scholten, Devin McGuire, and Dylan Bults.
