FLEISCHAUER, Judith

passed peacefully January 26, 2021 in Guelph General Hospital, in her 73rd year, after a prolonged illness. Raised in Lindsay, Judith was a proud 1971 graduate of Macdonald Institute, College of Family and Consumer Studies (University of Guelph). She met the love of her life (Bob) at teachers college and they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage having two sons: Mike (Susan) in Edmonton and John in Ottawa. Judith devoted her life to her family and to building an amazingly broad group of friends, near and far, including her book club and her stitchery group. She was always busy with her passions of knitting or creating art through thread work often as gifts for others. She found great pleasure in celebrating special occasions in her home. We thank the staff at Groves Community Hospital and Guelph General Hospital for their devoted care. She will be missed. A celebration of her life will be held once we are covid free. Arrangements are entrusted to The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Groves Community Hospital Foundation.
