Flagpole installed in Celebration Square
CLIFFORD - A new flagpole is the latest addition to Clifford Rotary Celebration Square.
The flagpole was installed at noon on June 7 in Clifford.
Workers from Ewing Flagpole Inc. of Whitby secured the pole in place in the cement base.
Bill Smith arrived to secure the new Canadian flag to the rope and sent it to the top of the pole to be sure the halyard was functioning properly.
The pole and flag were donated by W.C. Smith Wholesale Distributor Inc. of Clifford.
