FISHER, Sharon Amelia (nee: O’Rourke)
It is with deepest sadness, that after a brief and courageous battle from COVID, Mom passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on December 21, 2020, at the age of 84. She is once again joined with the love of her life of 65 years, the late Fred Fisher (Oct. 2020). She will be forever and sadly missed by her children Bob (Jannette) Fisher, Sue Glavin, and Nancy (Vince) Voisin. Sharon was the amazing Grandma to her pride and joys Tylene (Kenny) Fisher, Devin (Derek Little) Fisher, Trevor (Dana) Glavin, Travis Glavin, Jake, James and Kelsey Voisin, and her cherished great Grandchildren Alyssa Fisher, Kingston and Harper Amelia Glavin. Sharon will be missed by her brother Dennis O’Rourke and her sisters Marilyn Cahill and Dawn Perrino. Her sister-in-law Ellen Bridgeman, and her brother-in-laws Jack, Earl and Albert Fisher. Missed but not forgotten by family friends The Bergin’s, Crewson’s, and Hastie’s. Predeceased by her infant daughter Margaret (1957) and son-in-law Don Glavin (2020). The family would like to thank the staff at Arthur Caressant Care Retirement Home Staff for taking such good care of Mom after Dad had passed, and to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing nursing staff at Groves Memorial Hospital - who went above and beyond, to take excellent care of Mom in her final days. A special thank you for Nurse Nicole who used her personal phone to allow us to FaceTime with Mom. A private gathering of family will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
