Firefighters to be honoured for long service
It is the end of an era for two Minto firefighters.
Minto Fire Chief Chris Harrow told council recently that Dennis Kaufman and Fred Smith, two long time members of the Minto fire department had recently retired.
He noted that both provided valuable contributions and will be recognized through a presentation of their helmets and monetary gift.
