Firefighters thankful

Dear Editor:

The Elora Firefighters Association would like to extend a very heartfelt thank-you to the community, for their continued support of our Annual Pancake Breakfast during the Canada Day festivities on July 1.

It is always a great opportunity to catch up with everyone and share a meal!

This day wouldn’t be possible without the support of Heritage River, who donated the pancake batter and syrup again this year; Paul Weekes, who always goes above and beyond in helping order all of the supplies; as well as Taylor Carlson who looks after everything once it arrives. We really appreciate your support and guidance.

Because of the generosity of our community, the Pancake Breakfast will be able to support multiple local charities, as well as sponsor some public skates this coming fall and winter.

Thank you, Centre Wellington. We will see you all again next year.
