Fifth annual CW Family FunDay Festival returns to Elora’s Bissell Park
ELORA – The Centre Wellington Black Committee (CWBC) will host the fifth annual CW Family FunDay Festival Sept. 6 from 11am to 6pm at Bissell Park in Elora.
The free, family-friendly festival will feature live music, cultural displays, food, games, prizes and activities for all ages.
Live performances include Errol Blackwood and Injahband, with a roots reggae set at 1pm and a 5pm finale.
The event will also feature the CW Rising Stars Talent Competition, local vendors, food trucks and interactive activities.
The Kidz Zone will offer face painting, bubbles, egg-and-spoon races, tug of war and other activities.
Returning crowd favourites include a tug-of-war competition between attendees and Centre Wellington Fire Rescue, as well as three-legged and egg-and-spoon races.
Seniors can take part in bingo, cornhole, a needle-and-thread race and community wellness programming, including information on online safety and fraud prevention.
The third annual Domino Tournament will also return, with players competing for the event trophy.
The first 250 children under 13 will receive a free grab bag courtesy of FreshCo and Giant Tiger in Centre Wellington.
Prizes include two dinner experiences for four at Elora Mill Hotel and Spa, each valued at $655.

Admission is free.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
Parking is available on-site, and a shuttle bus will also be available.
