Fergus stop planned for Daniel Lanois summer tour
TORONTO – Acclaimed producer, musician, songwriter and sonic innovator, Daniel Lanois, returns to Ontario this summer for a rare series of intimate live performances with the Daniel Lanois Trio.
Celebrated for his groundbreaking collaborations with Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, U2, Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and countless others, Lanois has helped shape some of the most influential recordings in modern music history.
The Ontario tour offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience his immersive soundscapes and deeply expressive live performance style in intimate theatre settings across the province.
Joining Lanois on stage are Jermaine Holmes on drums and vocals, and Jim Wilson on bass and vocals, forming a richly textured three-part harmony that blends atmospheric instrumentation with soulful vocal interplay, officials state.
