Fergus resident wins $700,000 with Bigger Spin Instant game

TORONTO – William Mackenzie, of Fergus, recently won $700,000 with the Bigger Spin Instant game.

“I am a regular lottery player,” Mackenzie said. “I played this one in the store when I found out I won.”

The automotive worker says he didn’t know what he won at first.

“I didn’t know the minimum prize amount was $500,000,” he said.

Mackenzie, 59, called his sister to tell her the news about his big win.

“She was happy for me,” he said smiling.

Mackenzie plans to save his winnings for retirement, do some home renovations and buy himself a new truck.

“It’s nice to win at this stage in my life,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at CH Convenience on Tower Street in Fergus.
