Fergus Grand Theatre celebrates World Theatre Day

FERGUS -  March 27 was World Theatre Day and the Fergus Grand Theatre offered some presentations and handed out the Lis Pieper award to locals who volunteer their time to promote live theatre.

Receiving the award were Robert Klein (second from left) who helps with the technical aspects of theatre; David Tanner (centre) who has written and directed plays; Gerard Gouthro (on screen) who is the head of the Centre Wellington Children’s Drama Theatre; and Bill Longshaw (second from right), a freelance photographer for the Wellington Advertiser who often shoots performances inside the theatre.
