Fergus Caressant Care celebrates second annual fall fair
FERGUS – Caressant Care Fergus was buzzing with activity Sept. 18 as it celebrated its second annual fall fair.
This year’s celebration was especially meaningful as it coincided with LTC Community Engagement Day, a special day dedicated to strengthening connections between residents, families, staff and the broader community.
“We were delighted to welcome MPP Joseph Racinsky to our home to join us in celebrating this special occasion and spending time with our residents and community,” said officials in a news release.
A highlight of the day was recognizing several residents and family members with special awards. These individuals were acknowledged for the extra care, kindness and support they provide.
“We were also thrilled to have several local community members and vendors join us and make the day extra special,” states the release.
“A big thank-you goes to Tali Tarts, The Scrub Room Co, Odyn from Rainbow Cream Ice Cream Cart, and Elvis Cameron Caton for being part of our Fall Fair and helping bring even more fun and excitement to the celebration.”
“An event like this would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our nutrition manager, activity director and the help of staff.
“Their creativity, planning and commitment helped make the day one our residents, families and staff will remember,” the release adds.
