Fergus and District Horticultural Society held annual “Best Bloomin’ Plant Sale”

FERGUS – The Fergus and District Horticultural Society held its annual “Best Bloomin’ Plant Sale” at the Fergus sportsplex on May 24. Society director Kathy Bouma said there were between 35 and 40 volunteers working to make the sale a success, offering “a wonderful selection of plants.” She said most of the plants are from society member’s gardens or from the community gardens they care for, noting “division is important in maintaining healthy gardens.”
