FARNWORTH, Heather Jane

Heather Jane Farnworth (McArthur) 84, of Elora, Ontario, passed away on Saturday December 13, 2025, at Groves Hospital in Fergus. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on September 16, 1941, Heather was the daughter of James and Helen (Wilson). After graduating from teachers’ college, she taught elementary school in Brampton and later in Guelph. Heather was a faithful disciple of Christ and had a lifelong passion for travel with George, serving the needs of others through her church, and spending time with her family and friends. Heather is remembered as a loving wife to George MacAllister, an inspiration to her children—Michael (Amy Gough), Jennifer (Tim Wiebe), and Bryan (Vanessa Gilmour)—and a proud grandmother to Liam, Alexandra, Jackson, Roan, and Corwin. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, Ontario. Reception will follow at the funeral home.
