Farmers’ market

Dear Editor:

Spring has sprung, but so far has been fleeting.

While many of us wait patiently for sunny days, our local farmer’s and market vendors are hard at work spending long hours preparing for the warm weather.

You may not see it in the fields outside of town, but inside green houses seedlings are sprouting and growing in anticipation of being transplanted outside under the warm sun.

Your local market vendors have been preparing all winter to provide you and your family with fresh produce, locally made goods, and delicious treats.

This year remember to start your weekend at the Elora Farmers’ Market in Bissell Park from 9am to 1pm every Saturday. Remember: Farmers feed cities (and towns).
