PUSLINCH – Organizers are encouraging residents to bundle up and join the Optimist Club of Puslinch for one of the community’s favorite Family Day traditions. Since 2013, the Optimist Club has hosted a weekend packed with fun and community spirit for all ages.
The event kicks off with a four-on-four adult hockey tournament at the Optimist Recreation Centre.
Family Day Monday is all about the kids, officials say.
Guests can head into the community centre for a live magic show, face painting and free hotdogs and hot chocolate for kids.
Outside the centre includes more winter fun, including a bonfire and marshmallow roast, family skating, human bowling and a scavenger hunt.
