Fallen Leaves next silver screen offering from Minto Arts Council’s Big Film Fest
PALMERSTON – Fallen Leaves is the next offering in the Minto Arts Council’s Big Film Fest series.
The 2023 comedy/romance, by Finnish director/screenwriter Aki Kaurismäki follows two solitary people in Helsinki as they look for a way out of their loneliness.
Minto arts officials describe the show as a “warm-hearted, tragicomic triumph.”
Fallen Leaves screens on Feb. 19 at 7:15 pm at the Norgan Theatre, located on 275 Main Street West in Palmerston. Admission is $10.
The Big Film Fest is hosted by the Minto Arts Council, in partnership with the Norgan Theatre and the Town of Minto.
The films, which run the third Monday of each month, are presented by the Film Circuit division of the Toronto International Film Festival.
