1934 - 2024 William “Bill” Evoy, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care in Arthur, on July 31. Born on June 15, 1934 in Hamilton, Ontario, Bill is predeceased by parents Dorothy and Oscar Evoy, and brother Robert. Bill was a cherished husband to Audrey for 66 years, will always be a beloved father to sons Donald and James, and is survived by an extended family that also includes seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. During his illustrious career as a dedicated teacher at Nelson High School (Burlington), Bill was best known for coaching both swimming and volleyball. He loved spending time with family and friends, was passionate about camping, hiking, and canoeing with his wife Audrey, and enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and telling jokes. Bill will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for his kind, supportive, and loving nature. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
