EVANS, Joanne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joanne Isabelle Evans (McClennan), who passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3rd, in her 69th year. Born in Palmerston, Ontario, on October 24, 1957. She most recently resided in the town of Ripley after spending the majority of her life in the village of Elora. Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her Husband of 50 years, Greg, her sons Kristopher and Michael, daughter in law Lisa; grandchildren Karissa, Myla, and Nolan. Sister of Larry and Debbie, Bruce and Kim, Randy and Chris, and David and Theresa McClennan; sister-in-law of Jackie, Mark, Bob and Sherrie, Karen and the late Dave Evans and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; as well as many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; Jean (Denny) and Bill McClennan. Known for her kindness, sense of humour, generosity, love of family and friends, strength and infectious smile. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at Scotia Bank, where she dedicated many years of her life and built lasting friendships and relationships along the way. Joanne brought warmth and joy to the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered and loved.
