Erni's Place gets community improvement grant
Wellington North council has awarded a $2,500 façade improvement grant to Erni’s Place restaurant in Arthur.
The economic development report was accepted by council without discussion at on July 24.
In his report, economic development officer Dale Small explained the façade improvements at the restaurant have already been completed.
Council approved $15,000 in community improvement grant funding in the 2017 budget. With this application, the total funding approved to date is $21,401.
Small explained the overrun can be accommodated through the department’s operating budget.
Councillor Steve McCabe was absent.
