Erin Snowman earns name Braveheart

Braveheart and friends – Following a fresh snowfall, Erin resident Jen Edwards built a cheerful snowman with help from her family and youngsters at the daycare she operates. The snow sculpture has been gaining notoriety in the village of Erin after a brief stint as a landmark during a drive-by scavenger hunt over the holidays.

Edwards decided to hold an online naming contest, which drew 42 suggestions and 70 votes. The winning entry was “Braveheart.”
