Erin Farmers’ Market opening on June 18
ERIN – June 18 will mark the reopening of the Erin Farmers’ Market for its 14th season. The market is set to take place at the Erin Fairgrounds from 3 to 6:30pm.
“From just-picked fruits and vegetables, to heritage meats, baking, jams, fresh flowers, wine, honey and ice cream, it really is possible to do much of your grocery shopping at the market each week. Whether you’re a seasoned market-goer or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone,” said market coordinator Jennifer Schmelter in a news release.
Opening day will feature a roster of farms, prepared food vendors and artisans.There will also be free cotton candy for the kids from Higney Public House.
Homegrown Roots will be hosting a live fire cooking experience featuring their own grass-fed beef sausages and pasture-raised chicken samples.

The Market is set to take place in the agri-dome at the Erin Fairgrounds (184 Main St.). The Erin Farmers’ Market willl be held on Thursdays inside the agri-dome from June 18 through to Sept. 24.
