Erin office temporarily closed after town employee tests positive for COVID-19
TOWN OF ERIN MUNICIPAL OFFICE

ERIN - A Town of Erin employee tested positive for COVID-19 on Oct. 14.

The employee has been self-isolating since discovering symptoms and has not been in close contact with other staff or members of the public, states an Oct. 15 press release issued by the town.

Town hall will be closed from Oct. 15 to 19 “out of an abundance of caution,” the release states, so the building can be thoroughly cleaned.

Though the municipal office will be closed, staff will be working remotely and will continue to offer essential municipal services.

“We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience,” officials state.

“We wish this employee a speedy recovery and look forward to reopening the doors to town hall once it is safe to do so.”
