Erin church hosting fundraisers with auction and shop local events
Erin United Church is offering the community three opportunities to shop locally and support the church at the same time.
The annual MacMillan’s fundraiser is in full swing. This is a great chance to purchase a variety of cookie or muffin batters, pizza, cheesecakes, tarts and appetizers.
The deadline for orders is Nov. 22, with delivery of items to the church on Dec. 6, after the service. Contact Cindy at 519-833-9808 for information or to place an order.
Nov. 27 is the annual fowl (turkey) supper. Seating times are 5, 6, and 7pm. This is a buffet with all the trimmings. Take out and deliveries will be available.
Everyone is welcome to shop at the silent auction. Bidding will close at 7:30pm.

The third opportunity to shop locally will be at the craft sale on Dec. 5 from 10am to 2pm. It features baking, craft, and white elephant tables. Local vendors will be present. To book a table call Vida at 519-833-2273.
Advent services will begin on Nov. 29 and continue until Dec. 20 at 11am with Rev. Ross Gilroy. Jane Adair will be singing Dec. 13.
Additional Christmas celebrations will take place on Dec. 13 at 6:30 pm when the Young at Heart Singers and the Erin United Church Choir will present a choral service. The Christmas Eve service will be at 7pm.
The Tuesday lunches continue through to Christmas.
