Erin chamber to host all-candidates meeting

ERIN – Erin Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to meet the candidates running in the 2026 Erin Municipal Election. 

This non-partisan public forum gives residents the opportunity to hear directly from mayoral, councillor, county councillor and school board trustee candidates – all in one evening.

Community members are invited to submit questions in advance using an online question form. All questions will be reviewed, grouped by theme and selected to reflect the issues that matter most to Erin residents. There will be no questions taken from the floor on the evening.

All submitted questions will be made available to the community as well as the candidates after the event. 

Candidates will be encouraged to address the questions using their own communication platforms.

Venue capacity is limited and attendance will be on a first come, first serve basis. Livestream and radio alternatives will be publicized.

The event will take place Sept. 22 from 6 to 10pm.
