Email issues

Dear Editor:

As Ward 3 representative for Centre Wellington Township council, I was disappointed to read Ralph Eisen’s letter (‘Racetrack’ problem, Nov. 7) where he indicated he did not receive a response to his email sent through the township website at ward3@centrewellingon.ca

I am disappointed because I never received his email and this has happened a number of times now with other constituents (and other councillors too)  due to issues with the township email system.

I spoke with Mr. Eisen personally last Thursday and am actively working on solutions to the other important issues he has raised.

I have also asked our CAO Andy Goldie to address the problems with receiving township emails but a solution does not appear to be forthcoming. I therefore wish to reach out to Ward 3 constituents and advise them of this ongoing IT issue with the township email system.
