Elora Singers present Maiden, Mystics, Myths and Memories
ELORA – The Elora Singers are excited to announce the final concert of their 2023-24 season, Maiden, Mystics, Myths and Memories, taking place on May 5 at Harcourt Memorial United Church in Guelph.
The program boasts a selection of composers the singers have championed, including Arvo Pärt, Reena Esmail, Eriks Ešenvalds and Eric Whitacre.
Joining the Elora Singers will be members of the 2024 Elora Vocal Academy.
“There is so much beautiful music in this program for our season final,” said artistic director Mark Vuorinen, listing Marian motets, a cappela pieces, and evoking the myths and memories in some of the pieces among them.
“And gorgeous choral music to end our week with our vocal academy participants who will add their voices to the Elora Singers.”
Tickets cost $40 for adults, $20 for students and $10 for children 14 and under. The concert takes place at 4pm on May 5 at Harcourt Memorial United Church in Guelph.
