Elora firefighters to hold MS fundraiser on Metcalfe Street bridge on Sept. 19
Firefighters in Elora will be raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy during an annual road toll on Sept. 19.
At the Aug. 24 meeting, Mayor Kelly Linton said this is something done each year.
The annual bylaw allows the firefighters to operate the toll booth, Linton explained.
Council quickly endorsed the bylaw for the toll booth on the Metcalfe Street bridge from 8:30am to 4pm on behalf of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
