Elora Farmers’ Market moving to JECC Oct. 18 to Dec. 20

ELORA — The Elora Farmers’ Market’s indoor market season will now be held at a new location: the Jefferson Elora Community Centre.

Beginning Oct. 18, the market will run Saturdays, 9am to 1pm, until Dec. 20.

The new venue offers plenty of space for vendors and visitors alike, officials say, adding it is fully accessible and parking is free.

“Plus, being right next to the skating rink makes it the perfect family outing spot,” officials stated in a press release.

Shoppers can enjoy the indoor atmosphere while exploring local produce, meats, poultry, eggs, cheeses, fresh baking, and artisan crafts. Officials say visitors can look forward to:

– a welcoming space to sit, sip and snack;

– familiar vendors and new surprises;

– a chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones; and

– live music.

“We’re thrilled to be in this new location,” stated Karen Mansfield, chair of the Elora Farmers’ Market.

“The Jefferson Elora Community Centre gives us a bright, spacious, and welcoming home for the fall /winter season, and we can’t wait to share it with our community.”
