ELORA – The Elora Centre for Arts will become a focus for Shakespeare enthusiasts this August.

The Elora Community Theatre will be performing the tragedy King Lear and the comedy Much Ado About Nothing.

Shakespeare in the Park will be the theatre company’s 11th season performing the Bard’s famous plays.

This year patrons will have the opportunity to attend a comedy and a tragedy in the same weekend.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the timeless tales at the outdoor pavilion at Elora Centre for the Arts.

Tickets will be $25 each and are available online at eloracentreforthearts.ca or by cash at the gate on the day of the performance.

Shows begin at 8pm Aug. 1 to 5 and 8 to 11, and 2pm on Aug. 3 to 5 and 10 to 11.

Officials encourage guests to bring a blanket or a chair to the performances.
