Novel interpretation – A classic novel came to life on Dec. 10 with the performance of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Director Deb Stanson along with her crew and artist Peter Skoggard, who sketched all the backdrops, pulled everything together for a successful performance.
The book was an immediate hit when it was first published in 1847 and tells the tale of an impoverished girl who despite many tragedies in her life rose upward to become successful. The play continues Dec. 17 and 19.
