Elora church hosting course
ABOYNE – Central Church Elora is offering a course to help people struggling with the age-old question, Is there more to life than this?
Alpha is a weekly program with a free meal and conversation about life’s big questions: Why are we here?, is there a God?, and, is there more to life than this?
The course is cost- and judgement-free.
Alpha is offered Tuesday nights, from 6:30 to 8:30pm from Sept. 23 to Nov. 18.
Alpha is designed for people without a church background, and who wouldn’t necessarily call themselves Christian.
Alpha is volunteer-run.
Organizers say there’s no obligation and curious people can come for one night only or the entire course.
Each evening begins at 6:30pm with a social time, followed by a free dinner, a video, and closes with open discussion.
Drop-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged.
