ELORA – Polish off those dancing shoes and grab yourself a partner or two – Eclectic Vinyl Orchestra (EVO) is back in Centre Wellington.
The Guelph-based dance-hall combo returns to the Elora Legion on Nov. 22.
Since introducing themselves to Centre Wellington at a benefit show at the Elora Centre for the Arts, EVO has developed a loyal following and added new fans after every event, officials state.
With a sound that swings from the 1930s through the 1960s, EVO knows how to keep audiences moving, they add.
“Their signature blend of jump, jive and wail brings together upright bass, growling saxophones, tight harmonies and irrepressible energy.
“It’s the kind of timeless dance-party experience that bridges generations and guarantees a good time,” officials say.
From Ray Charles to Etta James, EVO’s playlist is a celebration of the golden era of dance-hall hits.
Doors open at 7:30pm and music starts at 8pm. Tickets are $20 and available at ticketscene.ca. For more information visit eclecticvo.com.
