ELORA - The Elora Centre for the Arts (ECFTA) is hosting a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol at 7pm on Dec. 12.

Following the format of the iconic CBC readings, this holiday favourite will feature a cast of distinguished actors and well-known personalities: Dylan Roberts, Lorie Black, Shari Roberts, Dave Schneider and Colin Fox, and live acoustic music from The Fair Wind Celtic quartet.

There will also be singing.

The Arts Centre holiday pop-up shop will be open, stocked with handmade and unique gifts, and the cash bar will feature wine, beer, cider and grog, in a nod to Charles Dickens.

The event will benefit Supportive Arts, a weekly art-based program for adults with (dis)abilities at ECFTA.

Tickets are $20 and available in advance at The Elora Centre for the Arts at 75 Melville Street in Elora, Sante in Elora and Fountainhead in Fergus.

For more information visit ecfta.ca.

To reserve tickets or purchase over the phone call the Elora Centre for the Arts at 519-846-9698.
