CLIFFORD - Earth Day on April 22 is recognized in the village of Clifford by the Clifford and District Horticultural Society.

A Saturday is chosen and people of the community are invited to meet members of the Horticultural Society at the John Hobelman Memorial Rotary Pavillion Park at 10am to tidy each sidewalk and park.

This year, April 17 was chosen, but with COVID-19 restrictions, the society was not able to join with the Town of Minto to offer refreshments, usually hot dogs, drinks, and goodies.

Unofficially, anyone interested was welcome to pick up a bag and head out to clean up the garbage and recyclables left by the wayside.

Community members are welcome to do their part by cleaning up on April 22, or at any time.
