WATERLOO – The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy has announced youth auditions for upcoming productions.
Youth will audition for multiple productions including the Children’s Chorus of Cinderella: The Panto, running Nov. 27 to Dec. 28, in Waterloo, and the Junior (8–13) and Senior (14–18) Musical Theatre Companies, performing Disney’s Dare to Dream JR in January in Cambridge.
Auditions take place at 145 Northfield Dr. W, Waterloo on July 13.
Performers aged 8 to 15 are eligible to audition for Cinderella: The Panto and/or the Musical Theatre Company, while those aged 16 to 18 may audition for the Senior Musical Theatre Company.

“Cinderella: The Panto is a lively, inclusive holiday show, offering barrier-free access to youth performers at no cost,” officials state.
The creative team is led by director/choreographer David Connolly, with performances rotating among Children’s Chorus teams.
The Musical Theatre Company offers professional-level training and performance experience in a brand-new Disney revue show called Dare to Dream JR.
Rehearsals will run from Sept. 28 to Jan. 18, culminating in public performances on Jan. 18 at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge.
“It is an honour to support local families in their quest for quality arts education and performing opportunities that foster bravery, belonging and kindness,” states artistic director David Connolly in a press release.
Additionally, fall session classes (Sept. 23 to Dec. 13) including acting, improv, musical theatre and technical theatre for all ages, from preschoolers to adults, are now open for registration.
Popular returning programs include the Caterpillar Program (18 months to seven years) and Show Tunes Wellness for adults and seniors.
The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy is located at 145 Northfield Dr. West in Waterloo.
