Drayton Defenders U9 LL win league championship

League champs - The Drayton Defenders U9 LL team won the league championship on March 31, beating the Kincardine Bull Shooters in a best-of-three series. The team went a combined 10-1 in the playoffs, only losing a close game to Seaforth in the second round. The team also won all three tournaments they entered this season.

The team consists of: Reed Chappell, Cole Corry, Blake Deen, Connor Deen, Jaxson Dickieson, Alex Eby, Liam Hutchinson, Jace Lantz, Colson Loucks, Beckett Martin, Peyton Myer, Gus Petznick, Logan Roelofsen, Nathan Timmerman and Blake Trinier. Team officials offer “A big thanks to all of the parents for their help throughout the year.”
