Donation to Guides – The Mount Forest Girl Guide Cookie stand had a couple of surprise visitors recently. Tim Noonan, left, and Jim Florence, right, from the Mount Forest Legion Catch the Ace committee stopped by to buy some cookies and to drop off a cheque for $1,000. Guide leader Mary Lynn Wettlaufer and the Girl Guides on hand were excited, as the funds will help pay for their upcoming camping trip. “Thanks to everyone who has purchased the Catch the Ace tickets who made this donation possible,” Legion officials state.
