Predeceased by his loving wife May on October 16, 2007. Passed away on Monday January 25, 2021. Loving Father of Derek & Jenny of Grand Valley and Robert & Maria of Kentucky. Loving Papa of Mackenzie & Deanna, Stuart & Amber, Madeline & Austin, Emily & Craig, Bobby & Rosie, Catherine & Jason and Great Grandfather to Sam. Hugh will be fondly remembered by his Nieces and Nephews, close family friends, his devoted Church family, all of his neighbours and to anyone he met on his many walks in and around Fergus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an SPCA or Humane Society of your choice. As a result of Covid-19 regulations a private family service will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus.
